Objectives:

To promote, foster
and deal with all aspects of the welfare of the deaf. |

To develop and
maintain welfare services for the deaf. |
| 3.

To assist and
closely co-operate with the general public and all Government, voluntary,
religious and philanthropic bodies concerned with, or interested in
the welfare of the deaf. |

To provide and
to assist in establishing, where necessary, schools for the deaf,
or Centres for training Teachers of the Deaf. |
| 5.

To assist existing
schools or other institutions for the deaf in any manner deemed fit
by Society. |
| 6.

To disseminate
information concerning the needs of the deaf and to encourage and
foster an understanding of their special problems and difficulties. |

To initiate,
undertake or assist in research in the field of deaf welfare. |

To raise funds
for the accomplishment of the above objectives. |
