Objectives:

1. To help visually impaired individuals to adjust to their visual problems.
2. To prepare visually impaired persons for a vocation and live a gainful and independent life.
3. To assist trained visually impaired individuals to find jobs in open employment.
4. To inform and create public awareness on the needs, abilities and capabilities of visually impaired persons and to give them opportunities for employment and chance in life.
5. To undertake and encourage measures for the prevention of blindness.
