Objectives:

assist in the prevention, treatment and control of leprosy with a
view of its ultimate eradication by:

Assisting
and encouraging leprosy patients to seek early treatments; |

Looking
after the welfare of leprosy patients and dependants during
isolation and treatment; |

Rehabilitating
cured leprosy patients; |

Combating
prejudice against the disease of leprosy; |

Making
every effort to eradicate the disease of leprosy. |

initiate, carry out and issue reports of inquiries and observations
into the origin, growth, prevention, treatment and cure of leprosy. |
