Objectives:

encourage participation in global policy issues, ranging from environmental
degradation, over consumption, financial crisis in the region, food
security to trade and multilateral institutions such as APEC and WTO
etc, in the Asia Pacific region. |

raise awareness and lobby for policy changes through advocacy, research
and documentation. |

promote national, regional and international co-operation and linkages
amongst like-minded NGOs with a view to widening community participation
in the decision making process to ensure a more just, economic and
